These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Making Masters — Weekly Talks with Mohanji at makingmasters.mohanji.org (the “Service”), offered by Mohanji Foundation (“we”, “us”, “our”). We’ve tried to write these in plain, human language rather than dense legalese. By subscribing to or using the Service you’re agreeing to them, alongside our Privacy Policy. If anything here doesn’t sit right with you, please write to us before subscribing — we’re always happy to help.
1. The Service
Making Masters is a weekly live satsang with Mohanji, held online (via Zoom). A session runs about two hours — teaching on a chosen theme, questions answered live, and a period of blessings. The day and time vary from week to week and are confirmed ahead of each session. Live translation may be offered in some languages. The theme, format and schedule are chosen by us and may change.
2. Eligibility and your account
The Service is intended for adults. To subscribe you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. The Family plan is for members of a single household. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Subscriptions, plans and pricing
You may subscribe on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis, as an Individual or a Family, at the prices shown on the Service. Prices are shown, and charged, in euro (€) or Indian rupees (₹) according to your location; the rupee price includes local conversion and handling costs. Each subscription is a prepaid term covering a set number of sessions — it does not renew automatically. When a term ends it simply stops, and continuing is your choice. We may change prices from time to time, but a change will never affect a term you have already paid for.
4. Payment and taxes
Payments are processed by our payment providers — Stripe for euro and Razorpay for rupees. By paying, you authorise the charge and agree to the provider’s terms. Applicable taxes (such as VAT or GST) may be added or included as required by law. We do not store your card details.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Because subscriptions are prepaid and do not auto-renew, there is nothing to cancel to avoid a future charge — a term simply ends on its date. You may choose not to renew at any time, and you can manage your subscription from your account page.
Because each session is live and your place is held in advance, we are generally not able to offer refunds once a term has been paid for. We know, though, that life sometimes takes an unexpected turn. If yours has, please simply write to us at events@mohanji.org — we read every message personally and will do our best to find a fair and kind way forward. And of course, nothing here takes away any rights the law where you live already gives you.
6. Joining sessions and recordings
Your joining link is sent by email before each session for as long as your subscription runs. Sessions are recorded, and recordings are made available to subscribers on Mohanji TV (free to watch there for a limited period after each session). If you join with your camera or microphone on, you may appear in the recording. Please keep the sessions and recordings for your own use — kindly don’t record, download, copy, share or resell any part of them without our permission, as they carry Mohanji’s teaching and are offered to you in trust.
7. Sharing the space
A satsang works because everyone in the room holds the space together. We simply ask that you treat Mohanji, the team and your fellow participants with kindness and respect, keep your joining link and account to yourself, and use the Service lawfully. If someone repeatedly disrupts the space or these Terms, we may need to limit or end their access — something we would only ever do reluctantly, and with care.
8. Intellectual property
All content in the Service and its sessions — teachings, recordings, text, images, audio and video — belongs to Mohanji Foundation or its licensors and is protected by law. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial right to attend sessions and view recordings for your own use only. No other rights are granted.
9. Nature of the sessions
The sessions are spiritual and educational in nature. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and are not a substitute for professional care. Nothing in the Service is a guarantee of any particular result or outcome. If you have a health or other concern, please consult a qualified professional. Participation is your own responsibility.
10. Availability
We aim to run a session each week, but we may occasionally need to reschedule, change or cancel a session, or interrupt the Service for maintenance or reasons beyond our control (including issues with third-party platforms). We are not responsible for problems caused by your own device or internet connection.
11. Limitation of liability
We put real care into these sessions and sincerely hope they serve you well. That said, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is offered as it is, and we cannot accept responsibility for indirect or unforeseen losses. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects the rights you have as a consumer.
12. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and where changes are material we will let you know by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Mohanji Foundation’s operation of the Service, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts having jurisdiction there, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
